Veronica S. Catlett

Veronica S. Catlett, 49, of Lima, passed away at 12:18 PM on Monday, May 15, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on November 21, 1973 in Lima to Timothy “Tim” Floyd Catlett, who preceded her in death, and raised by her step-father Tommy Hendley who preceded her in death and Debra (Lane) Hendley, who survives in Lima.

Veronica worked at Daryl and Daryl’s. She enjoyed traveling to Daytona Beach. Her heart was as big as the ocean and would help anyone who needed it. She was a Michigan Wolverines fan and loved all the holiday seasons. Above all her grandchildren were her priority.

Surviving are her children Jordan (Denise) Coppler, Brittany (Travis) White, Alexis Lancaster, Shian Phillips, Justin Lancaster, Kadin Jones, Haylie Johnson, Sarah Cole, Bailee Mason, Michael (Mauricia) Anderson and Sarah Anderson; her paternal grandparents Grace P. (Lowell, Sr.) Catlett and Carolyn P. Catlett; her grandchildren Azden White, Haizden White, Little Bill, Thomas Coppler, Kayson Phillips, Daylen Phillips, Harmonee, Heavenlee, Kadrian, Kandyn, Michael, Jr., Jeremiah, Kaine, Braelyne, Chase, Adaleigh, Kadleigh and Paisleigh; her siblings Beth (Shawn) Hendley, Paula Tate, Sissy (James) Swanson, Tim (Darsha) Hendley, Ryan (Kristen) McDonald, James Bartley, Justin Catlett, Anna Bowman and Chrissy Cotterman. She is also survived by her neices and nephews Deseree DeRosia-Hendley, Zariah Alecea, Brianna Lambert, Riley Murphy, Serenity McDonald, her favorite Timothy Hendley, Jr., Brandon Scott, Preston Plaugher, David Tate and Dillion Tate; her aunts and uncles Julie Foust-Wollam, Sharon (Fred) DePalma Nancy VanDyke, Becky Lane, Cheryl Skinner, Cindy (Rene) Essex, Shirley O’Donnell, Rick Catlett, Robert D. Catlett Jr., Lowell Hartzog, Jr., George A. “Tony” Catlett and Noreen Curl; her special friend Dan Harris.

She was preceded in death by her fathers Timothy F. Catlett and Tommy T. Hendley; paternal grandfather Robert D. Catlett, Sr. and maternal grandparents Dallas (Virginia) Lane; aunts and uncles Larry VanDyke, Herb Lane, Sr., Mike Skinner, Bob O’Donnell, Frank Hartzog and David (Laura) Lane.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 19, 2023 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.

Interment will immediately follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Veronica will take her last ride immediately following the service at the funeral home to Memorial Park Cemetery, any riders that would like to join the procession are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to offset funeral expenses.
