Darcy Lynn Hollar

Darcy Lynn Hollar, age 55 of Lima, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at 3:48 p.m. at her daughter’s home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born April 29, 1967 in Lima to Gerald “Jerry” and Wilhellmena (Schellenbarg) Mort who preceded her in death. On December 29, 1984 she married Michael E. Hollar who survives.

Also surviving are their daughters: Tiffany Lynn (Megan May) Hollar of Lima and Crystal Lynn Hollar of Decatur, IN; her sister, Paula (Curtis Coats) Clabaugh of Lima, and brother, Gerald D. “Jody” Mort of American Twp. Also, she leaves her two grandchildren, Aiden Hale and Julianna Lynn Hale and Chance, her grandpuppy. Her only remaining cousin, Michele Chovanec, survives in Oak Harbor.

Darcy was the assistant manager of the Hampton Inn where she was employed since 1988. She enjoyed shopping, Starbucks and Biggby Coffee, and always looked forward to family vacations every year.

Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 18, 2023 with Angie Hover presiding, at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 2-4, and 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wexner Medical Center or Shriners Hospitals for Children
