Steven Reed Hayes, age 76, passed away June 16, 2022, at 12:59 pm, at Burton’s Ridge Assisted Living. Steven was born February 23, 1946, in Lima, OH, to Harold H. and Mary A. (Pryer) Hayes who preceded him in death.
Steven is a graduate of Lima Senior High School. He also earned an associates degree from the Northwestern Business College. He had worked for a short time as a bookkeeper with Metzger Accounting.
Steven is survived by his sister, Robin J. Anthony of Lima, OH, a niece, Kristen Miller of Lima, OH, 3 nephews: Nick (Paolina) Anthony of Fishers, IN, Matt (Angie) Anthony and Drew (Nikki) Anthony both of Lima, OH, a great nephew, Christopher Anthony and 3 great nieces: Rachel Anthony, Brooklyn Anthony and Emily Miller and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother in-law Chris G. Anthony.
Following Steven’s wishes there will not be any services held at this time. Burial of cremated remains will be in Shawnee Cemetery at a later date.
