Kameron Damere Dewberry, 18 of Dayton, passed away May 8, 2021.
Kameron was born March 10, 2003 in Lima, to Walter Dewberry, Jr. and Katrina Phillips, who survives him in Dayton.
Kameron was a happy go lucky person who enjoyed basketball and football. He enjoyed fashion and all the newest tech. Kameron was a homebody who enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, especially all the kids in his family. He loved sports cars and looked forward to owning a BMW. Kameron was goofy, always playing and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Kameron is survived by his step-mother, Shelley Russell; siblings, Walter Earl Dewberry, III, Jaydun Dewberry, Sharon Thomas, Cheyenne (Brandon) Russell and Shamauri Thomas; maternal grandparents, Brian Brown and Shellie Phillips; paternal grandmother, Janice Dewberry; aunts, Krista Brown, Alesha Kerns, Nicole (Kenneth) Reynolds and Joyce (Curtis) Johnson; nephew, Brandon Sumlin, Jr.; special godmother, Samantha Welch; special godfather, Brian Jones; cousins, Naomi Terry, Olivia Terry, A.J. Phillips, Isaiah Phillips, Devin Morning, Jessica Morning, Jalen Morning, Amani Morning, Kharter Morning, Khal-El Morning and Lynette Jones. Kameron was loved by many more; too many to list.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Walter Dewberry, Sr. and maternal great-grandfather, Arthur Phillips.
Home Going service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION – EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
