Michael T. Swanger

Michael T. Swanger, age 71, passed away at 6:12 am Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Lima Memorial Health System.

Michael was born February 24, 1949 in Lima, OH, to Robert E. and Virginia E (Barnes) Swanger who both preceded him in death.

Michael was a 1967 graduate of Concord High School in Indiana. He retired from General Dynamics, where he worked as a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker.
Michael was a member of Temple Beth Israel-Shaare Zedek. He especially loved to travel, work in his yard and garden.

He is survived by two children, Jennifer L. Swanger of Lima, Michael T. Swanger, II of Ada; three grandchildren, Maddison, Isabelle and Bentley and a brother and sister.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his former wife, Joy Swanger.

A private graveside service will be held in Union Chapel Cemetery, Greenville, TN.
