Mark A. Galusha, 54, passed away on February 11, 2020, at 12:10 am, surrounded by his loving family.
Mark was born December 25, 1965 in Defiance, OH, to the late Gregory and Deanna (Michael) Galusha. On August 23, 1985 he married Michelle (Christensen) Galusha who survives in Lima, Ohio.
Mark graduated from Defiance High School in 1984. He then enlisted into the United States Navy and served four years. He was an Navy Aircraft Mechanic and stationed at Naval Air Station Joint reserve Base Willow Grove in Horsham Township, Pennsylvania. Mark took great pride in his profession as a direct support professional. He served the needs of Allen County developmentally disabled and was nominated for an award through one of his clients. He was a very giving person, willing to help anyone in need. He was also very welcoming and touched many people’s lives through his services. He was an avid reader and loved being in the kitchen making various recipes. Mark loved his wife and cherished his children.
Mark is survived by his mother, Deanna C. Galusha of Defiance, OH, children, Emily Galusha of Lima, OH, Sarah Galusha of Lima, OH, Holden Galusha of Lima, OH, siblings, Michael (Mary) Galusha of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Galusha of Pratville, AL, Paul Galusha of Pensacola, FL, and Lynette (Eric) Roberts of Defiance, OH. He also left behind several nieces and nephews.
A private service will be held at a later date.
