Bluffton
Wilma Joan Kempf, age 91 of Bluffton, passed away Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Arlington.
Wilma was born September 21, 1929 in Bluffton, to Earl and Alice (Ewing) Hamilton who preceded her in death. She was married to Herbert Kempf who preceded her in death on Feb. 10, 1997.
Survivors include two sons: Larry (Connie) Kempf of Bluffton and Ronald (Lisa) Kempf of Pandora; five grandchildren: Jennifer (Joseph) Havranek, Jarod (Kari) Kempf, Jaclyn Johnson, Amanda (John) Bowers and Rebecca (Matthew) Smith; nine great-grandchildren: Cayley, Blaine, Lanie, Libby, Cole, Lauren, Peighton, Skyler and Jerzey; two sisters-in-law: Mary Ellen Hamilton and Treva Clark, both of Findlay; plus several nieces and nephews.
Wilma was preceded in death by two brothers: Kenneth (JoAnn) Hamilton and Howard Hamilton.
She had worked at Millager’s and Mennonite Memorial Home, both in Bluffton and the L & K Restaurant. She enjoyed working outside in her yard and putting puzzles together once she was in the nursing home.
Private services will be held at the Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton with Rev. Katherine Beckett officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton following the service.
