He was my 6th grade teacher at Irving school around 1969. He was a great teacher and made a very positive impact on my life at the time. My condolences to the family.

I worked with Bill in the early days of my teaching career at Irving School in Lima. We had many long and interesting conversations about teaching and learning and...life! We even shared a birthday, 30 years apart! His wife Maggie was also an educator, and she is my brother's favorite teacher from his days as a student at Horace Mann School. Rest in Peace, Bill. Thanks for the memories!
