Victoria Anne “Vicki” Moening, age 64, passed peacefully on Friday morning, February 11, 2022.

Vicki was born April 30, 1957 in Lima, OH, to Robert C. “Bob” and Mary Margaret (Winkler) Stolly. On June 24, 1978 she married her high school sweetheart, Daniel J.Moening.

Vicki was a 1975 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. She was a woman of great faith and devoted many years of service to the Catholic church, St. Charles Catholic School and to the Lima Central Catholic High School Bookstore. Vicki truly loved working in the LCC Bookstore and the students she served. She was a devoted wife, mom, Maw Maw, daughter, sister, aunt and friend who loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Daniel J. Moening of Lima; three children, Megan (Sam) Isenbarger of Dublin, OH, Monica (Alex) Donley of Elida, OH and Daniel J. (Heather) Moening of Lima, OH; 7 grandchildren, Quinlan and Henry Isenbarger, Harvey, Mable and Mona Donley and Eloise and Madilynn Moening; parents, Robert C. “Bob” and Mary Margaret Stolly of Lima, OH; 3 brothers, Ric (Kelly) Stolly of Lima, OH, Greg (Suzie) Stolly of Lima, OH and Fred (Mary) Stolly of Sarasota, FL; sister, Beth (Mike) Steiger of Lima, OH; 2 brothers-in-law, Ron (Carolyn) Moening of Toledo, OH, Mark (Jennie) Moening of Weaverville, NC; 3 sisters-in-law, Barb (Steve Stayonovich) Moening of Lima, OH, Kris Moening of Lima, OH, Sharon (Gene) Reaman of Lima, OH and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her in-laws, Thomas G. and Angela D. Moening and 2 brothers-in-law, Tom Moening and Jerry Moening.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at St. Rose Catholic Church, 523 N. West Street, Lima, OH 45801. Father David Ross will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m.
