Vernon Earl Aller, 84 of Lima, passed away February 23, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Vernon was born June 23, 1936 in Mercer County to Dallas and Juanita (Felver) Aller, who preceded him in death. On November 9, 1957, he married Marilyn (Wallace) Aller, who survives him in Lima.
Vernon was a 1955 graduate of Lima South High School, he worked as an inspector at Lima Electric for 30 years and later retired from there in 1998. He was a member of Rousculp Church of Christ for over 50 years and enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows. Vernon was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his loving wife, Vernon leaves behind his children, Michael Aller, Barbara (Matt) Agner, Kenneth Aller, Linda Gregory, Nancy (Gene) Radebaugh & Rebecca (Bill) Bresson; grandchildren, Brian Fleck Aller, Jessica Evelisizer, Kenny Aller, Dustin Agner, Caleb Agner, Brianna Agner, Kyl Aller, Kayl Aller, Brandy Aller, Hayley Aller, Kristie Gregory, Jenna Lambert, Dale Lambert, Harper Bresson, Megan Webb, Taryn Bresson, Alyssa Carmean, Drew Bresson, Eve Hernandez, Stephanie Fasig, Jessica Longnecker, Ben & Erica; 18 great-grandchildren and his sisters, Betty (Dr. Gene) Boyd & Evelyn (Joe) Now.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Edith Pulford; daughter-in-law, Karen Aller; son-in-law, Michael Gregory and granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose Marie Bresson.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES – EASTSIDE CHAPEL with Rev. Kenneth Rader to officiate the service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
