Twyla S. Bailey, age 78, passed away July 26, 2020, at 8:30 pm, at the Wapak Manor. Twyla was born January 20, 1942, in Alger, Ohio, to Charles A. and Margarete (Dysert) Carmean who preceded her in death. On October 31, 1965, she married Harold “Beetle” W. Bailey Sr. who preceded her in death on February 17, 2007.
Twyla was a 1960 graduate of McGuffey High School. She had worked as a caregiver for many years with mentally challenged and elderly patients in the Lima area. Twyla loved to work jig-saw puzzles, sudoku and word puzzles. She also loved to garden and sing to her family.
Twyla is survived by her 5 children: Rita Bailey of Lima, OH, Harold “Wayne” (Stacy) Bailey, Jr. of Flatwoods, KY, Susan (Levi) Rhoads of Upper Sandusky, OH, Martha Arnett of Lima, OH and Tamera Ramirez of Riverview, FL, 13 Grandchildren, 9 step grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 8 siblings.
