Tina J. Scheid, 52, of Lima passed away at 2:51 AM on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
She was born on May 19, 1969 in Lima to the late Raymond McCoy and Irene (Riley) Risner, who survives in Lima. On June 26, 2010, she married Vince Scheid, who survives in Lima.
Tina received her Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Ohio Northern University and worked as a registered nurse at St. Rita’s Medical Center and as a school nurse at Kenton schools. She was a very active member of Lima Missionary Baptist Church, where she helped prepare many funeral dinners and with the children’s Church Camp.
She loved being on the beach and her Florida home. She enjoyed shooting and was a member of the NRA and a lifetime member of Sabres Gun Club. She enjoyed shopping and loved designing her dream home. Above all else, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Tina was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Surviving in addition to her husband Vince are her son Brandon (Amy) Perrine of Lima; her daughters Jessica and Sarah Johnson, both of Lima; her step-sons Kevin (Jessica) Scheid of Fishers, IN, Brian (Megan) Scheid of Lima, Jeff (Keri) Scheid of Columbus and Scott (Nicole) Scheid of Cridersville; her twenty-two grandchildren, with two more on the way; her one great-grandchild and one on the way. She is also survived by her brothers David, Steve and Ray McCoy; her sisters Jackie Goodin, Deb Jordan, Rhonda Roberts and Robin Prowant; her special friends Brenda and Ken Hall; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and her in-laws George and Ruth Scheid.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Lima Missionary Baptist Church, 3085 Yoder Road, Lima.
Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at the church at 1:00 PM.
Rev. Terry Brock will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lima Missionary Baptist Church.
