Timothy L. Moore, age 60, of Lima, passed away Jan. 29, 2021, at 7:19 am, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center.

He was born May 21, 1960 in Lima to Harry and Janette (Manuel) Moore who survive in Alger. On Oct. 6, 1990, he married Janet (Andrews) Moore who survives.

Also surviving are a stepson, Jason (Jayme) Bohyer and a stepdaughter, Julie Sanders, both of Van Wert; two brothers, Roger (Melissa) Moore of McGuffey and Nathan (Jennifer) Moore of Elida, and a sister, Carla (Jim) Archer of Lima. He is also survived by the following step grandchildren: Tony & Devin Sanders and Blake & Karly Bohyer. He also leaves behind the following nieces and nephews Katherine Moore, Alison Moore, David Moore, Lindsey Drexler, Connor Moore, Colton Moore and Kyle Moore.

Tim was a quality engineer for Dana Corp. and MetoKote. He had also worked at Hydro Aluminum and Lima Radio Parts. He played softball for American Legion Post 96 and was an avid golfer. He loved winter golf trips with Jason, Scot, Ron and Terry. He was a big man with a gentle heart.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 from 4-6 p.m. at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, followed by his funeral service beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the funeral home, with Pastor Don Clinger officiating.
