Timothy A. Miles, 61 of Lima, passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home. He was born Sept. 9, 1960 in Lima to the late Leonard E. and Marlyn F. (Phillips) Miles who survives in Columbus.

He was a 1978 graduate of Lima Sr. High School. He enjoyed his artistic abilities and his music. Timothy was known to many as Tim-Tim. He loved spending time with family and friends. He also was a great singer and dresser. Timmy was very intelligent and loved his Kewpees and his glazed donuts. He was also known for his saying, “One Time.” He will be greatly and sadly missed. Rest easy, Tim-Tim.

Also surviving are his daughter, Jaron Ward of Tulsa, OK; one granddaughter, Hailey Ward of Tulsa, OK and two great-granddaughters: Yeliah and Yelani Ward both of Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by three brothers: Lee (Annette) Miles of Lima, Leonard E. Miles, Jr. of Columbus and Shawn M. Miles, Bluffton, IN; two sisters: Vicki Smith of Lima and Kimberly D. Howard of Columbus. He is also survived by an uncle, James Lee Phillips of Lima, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of friends.

His funeral service will begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral Cremation Services, Rev. Charles Dupree officiating. His calling hours will be from 5:00 p.m. Thursday until the time of his service.
