Terry L. McKinley, 81, passed away January 22, 2021, at 10:11 am, Mercy Health, St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Terry was born May 22, 1939 in Spencerville, OH to Joseph and Betty (Wagner) McKinley who preceded him in death. On August 21, 1982 he married Linda Bell who survives in Elida, OH.

Terry retired in 2010, was a member of Delphos Country Club and attended Lima Community Church. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and loved playing chess. Terry enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Terry is survived by his children; Jacqueline Miller of Fort Mill, SC, Mindy Schoonover of Elida, OH., Shanda Thomas of Elida, OH. and Bruce McKinley of Elida, OH., seven grandchildren; Chad (Jessica) Miller, Brittany Miller, McKenzie Miller, Alexis Mooney, Cody Schoonover, Cory Schoonover, Ryleigh Hutson; three great-grandchildren; his siblings Dennis (Charmaine) McKinley of Atkinson, NC; Norman (Linda) McKinley of West Milton, OH. and Sherri (Craig) Hilyard of Lima, OH.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2021 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Pastor Brad Taylor officiating the service. Interment will take place following the service at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Lima Community Church.
