Rimer, OH
Terry “Jason” L. Keifer, age 69, passed away on June 12, 2022, at his residence. Jason was born March 7, 1953 in Lima, OH to Herbert and Florence (Lotz) Keifer who preceded him in death. On March 5, 1982, he married Betty Lou (Shaw) Keifer who preceded him in death on July 9, 2020.
Jason was a graduate of Lima Senior High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jason had worked as machine mechanic with PPI in Ottawa and then with General Motors in the engineering department. He ended his career with Local 329 in Lima where he worked as a pipefitter at the Lima Refinery. He was a member of the True Word Tabernacle in Bluffton.
Jason is survived by his children: Peggy (Antonio) Brooks of Toledo, OH, Robert (Canda) Boroff of Lima, OH, Paul Boroff of Toledo, OH, Bonnie Boroff of Ft. Jennings, OH, Rebecca Crider of Lima, OH and Alice Boroff of Lima, 10 grandchildren, 31great grandchildren and a brother, Donald Mowery of FL.
There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Brother Ray Erickson. Military honors will be provided by the VFW #1275 and the U.S. Army. Burial of cremated remains will be held privately at a later date.
Friends may visit one hour prior to the services at the SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to the True Word Tabernacle Church.
