Temple Kim Jones, age 49 of Lima, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, at 5:05 p.m. at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born June 7, 1973 in Lima to Joe and Sylvia (Walker) Jones. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Lima.

Also surviving are: her daughter, Trinity Jones. She also leaves behind the following siblings: Crystal L. Jones-Kirkman, Karmen (Frank) T. Hardy of Lima, Stephanie J. Jones, Joe L. Jones, Jr. and Jerry W. Jones all of Lima.

Temple was a 1991 graduate of Elida High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northwestern Ohio. She had previously served eight years in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany and Afghanistan. She liked shopping, baking, creative yardwork, loved watching cartoons and horror flicks. She loved her dog, Misa.

Services will begin at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2022 at the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services with Pastor David Kelly officiating the service. Family and friends my call on Sunday from 3:00 until the time of services at the funeral home.
