Tammy Lynn DeWitt lost her courageous fight with cancer Feb 4, 2018 at her beloved brother Todd’s residence surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill DeWitt, whom she married March 5, 1988.
Tammy was born June 9th, 1968 to Tom and Linda (Johns) Wheeler who both survive.
Survivors also include: two brothers, Tommy (Chris Williams) Wheeler and Todd (Sheila) Wheeler; a sister, Tonya Wheeler (Eddie) Ramirez; two sons, Billy (Angie) DeWitt and Bruce (Niki) DeWitt; a daughter, Kristina DeWitt; a special son, Adam Collar and six grandkids, Billy (Kayla) DeWitt, Jessica DeWitt, Lucas DeWitt, Mason DeWitt and Cadence Driscoll. She leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Tammy really enjoyed camping and fishing, especially with family and friends. She was very blessed to spend her final days where she was lovingly cared for by her sister-in-law Sheila. She loved her family so much and she was dearly loved by them.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, Feb 9, 2018 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Father Jim Szobonya will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 8, 2018 and 1 hour prior to the funeral Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
