Thank you Sue Wilch/Groves for allowing me to take 3 art classes my senior year and also spend my lunch hour in your art room, ha! I've been so fortunate to enjoy a successful career in art & design and I thank you for being an influencer who helped point me in the right direction. I'm grateful that I had a few occasions to share my experiences and thank you in person. Sending my deepest sympathy to Penny, Vicky, friends and family. Sincerely, Lisa (Goodman) Hetzer ??

Ms. Groves was my 10th grade art teacher in the 1980-81 school year. Much more than a great art teacher, she helped me more than words can say. She never knew it, but she was a strong guidance for me when I really needed it. What a wonderful woman! Cindy (Gildemeister) Howe Bluffton, Ohio

Sue was one of the dearest people God put on this earth. She and Don were so very good to me before, during and after I worked at the bear store. I learned so much from her about bears and the business. She was a great friend and boss. Susie will be missed by me and many others. Love you Susie...Rest in Peace.

Sue was my high school art teacher from 1977 to 1979. She was such a wonderful influence on me and my work that I made the decision to pursue a career as a professional wildlife artist and illustrator. I know her guidance and encouragement have stayed with me these 30 plus years in the industry. She showed up at a sport show in Lima where I was working a number of years ago to surprise me and see my work. I insisted she take home an art print she was admiring. The next day she showed up at my folks' home in Bluffton to present my daughter a beautiful Steiff teddy bear! She was simply an awesome person who I will never forget! Sue, rest in peace and say hi to Dad for us! May God Bless her family and friends, Joe Goodman & family Marysville
