Sherry Darlene (nee. Heller) Stinson, 83 of Lima, passed away June 14, 2022, at 10:25 PM, Kindred Hospital, with her loving children by her side.

Sherry was born January 14, 1939 in Harrod, to Clifford “Sadie” and Mildred (Hyer) Heller, who preceded her in death.

Sherry was a 1956 graduate of Harrod / Auglaize High School and worked as a secretary at the State Highway Department, continued her career as a license plate distributor for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles and retired from Macy’s after seven years in 2008. She loved to crochet, was an avid bowler and she enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her friends at Luther Pines and spending time with her family; she will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Sherry is survived by her children, Scott (Clarita) Stinson of Lima and her daughter, Margaret (Forrest Pinson) Moore of Lima.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, June 17, 2022 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in Auglaize Cemetery.
