Bluffton
Sheila M. Hurlburt, 88, passed away February 15, 2023, at the Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton. Sheila was born June 6, 1934 in Bluffton, to Lewis and Clara (Hinkle) Burkholder who preceded her in death. She married George Hurlburt who preceded her in death on July 7, 2000.
Sheila was an active member of the Bluffton Presbyterian Church and the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center. She was a kind woman who deeply cared about the Lord.
She is survived by a brother, Jim (Carol) Burkholder of Lakeview, OH; sister, Edna (Carroll) Gossard of Findlay, and a grandson, Tim O’Dell of Elida.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Greg O’Dell; grandson, Shawn O’Dell; and siblings, Lew Burkholder, Don Burkholder, William Burkholder, Louise Reichenbach, and Karen Deerhake,
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services – Bluffton. Pastor David Good officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
