Sandra Karene Salsbury, age 78, passed away on March 27, 2021, at 10:57 am, at her residence, surrounded by her beloved family.
Karene was born December 10, 1942 in Lima, OH, to Carmi and Virginia (Feightner) Moyers, both of whom preceded her in death. Alongside her husband, she helped found and operate Restoration Temple Church in Lima, where she served for many years. She was a dedicated advocate for countless people through their walk with Christ. She loved to study the scriptures and read books of all kinds. Missionary work was one of her greatest passions, and she touched many lives during her travels with Gene, to places such as Belize, Hungary, Belgium, Appalachia, and Holland. While she loved traveling the world, few places brought her more joy than Amish Country. Above all else, Karene loved the Lord and her precious family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an exceptional woman, and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
