Samantha Marie Clum (Foley), age 40, of Lima, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Mercy Health, St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born April 30, 1982, in Lima, Ohio the daughter of Robert and Karen (Beining) Foley. She graduated from Elida High School in 2000. She attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Samantha was the previous part owner/operator of the Locker Room restaurant in Harrod. More recently she was the staffing recruiter for Mid-American Cleaning Contractors.
She attended St. John Church in Lima. In high school Sam excelled in four varsity sports and was a great competitor. Sam loved running, walking, cooking, and food prep. She was well known for her creative fruit and relish trays. Samie was a very loving and giving person. She loved her children deeply and they were her source of strength. Sami always made time for her nieces who loved to dress up in her fancy shoes, clothes, and jewelry.
Samantha is survived by her three children Isabella, Braden, and Lyla Clum. She is also survived by her parents, Bob and Karen Foley, her sister Amanda (Joel) Mick, her nephew Colin Mick and nieces Rylie, Rowan, and Reagan Mick and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Samantha was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Walter and Marjorie Beining and paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Foley. Samantha was well-loved and will be missed by all.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial to honor her life at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at St. Johns Catholic Church, 777 S. Main St, Lima, OH 45804. Father David Ross will officiate. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 2, prior to the service at the church.
