Russell L. Reser, Sr., age 70 of Lima, passed away Saturday, Mar. 27, 2021, at 7:16 a.m. at his residence.

Russell was born Jan. 13, 1951 in Lima, to William and Rachel (Rupert) Reser who preceded him in death. He married Debbie (Music) Reser on May 25, 1973 and she survives.

Also surviving are their children: Melinda (Harry) Green of Wapakoneta, Russell (Tonya) Reser, Jr. of Lima and Gregory (Jessica) Reser of Mt. Cory; his siblings: William (Sherree) Reser of Lima, James (Kay) Reser of Ft. Shawnee, Mary (Mike) Wise of Salem, Brenda (Matt Morton) Reser of Lima and Donna (Dale) Thomas of Rolla, MO; fourteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and his special friends: Mark Rigdon, Dan (Sue) Fifer and Ted (Barb) Brunch all of Lima.

He is also preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Christine (Don) McCormick and a great-granddaughter, Kallie Mae Ramey.

He had worked at Superior Metal. He was a Bath Tigers Midget Football Coach and Basketball Coach. He enjoyed helping out at classic car shows for different charities,

Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held this summer.
