Ronda L. Atkinson, 91, passed away at 3:49 pm, March 3, 2021 at her residence.

She was born September 26, 1929 in Lima to Lamontt and Aldora M (Hill) Anderson who preceded her in death. On June 4, 1950 she married Robert L. Atkinson who preceded her in death on November 22, 2003.

She was an Office Manager / Administrative Assistant for Lima Surgical Associates and previously the first female loan officer for First Federal Bank. Ronda was a very active member of Crossroads Church of God, being the church treasurer, Sunday School teacher, and working with the youth. She was a member of the Business Womens Club, Lima Professional Womens, and the church bowling league. She loved visiting and writing encouraging words to friends and the elderly. Ronda volunteered at Lima Convalescent Home as a nail tech for over 10 years. She never met a stranger, extending care and hospitality to everyone. She was a very gracious lady, with a life well lived for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include: a Sister, Janice (Richard) Daudert of Kalamazoo, MI; “Adopted Children”, Dr. Tom (Rhonda) Jicha of Lima and Cathy (Robert) Bosland of Bluffton, SC; Nieces and Nephews, Linda (Phil) Herman, Richard (Kathy) Daudert, Curt (Betty) Smith, Jodell Hefner, and Julie Smith; Several Great-Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by: 2 Sons, Dr. Roderick Atkinson and Robert L. Atkinson, Jr.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Friday and 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am Saturday at Crossroads Church of God, 775 S. Thayer Rd, Lima, 45806 with Rev. Randy Bargerstock officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
