Ronald Amburgey, 77 of Lima, passed away February 18, 2023, at his residence.
Ron was born December 16, 1945 in Floyd County, KY, to Clyde and Laura (Nunamaker) Amburgey, who preceded him in death.
Ron was a graduate of Lima Senior High School and went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from Berea College. He was a Chemist with the Lima City Water Department for 30 years until his retirement in 2005. Ron enjoyed fishing and attending horse races.
Ron is survived by his nephew, Travis (Nichole) Hackworth of Wapakoneta; a great-nephew, Grant Hackworth and a great-niece, Ella Hackworth.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Eric Amburgey and his sister, Karen Hackworth.
