Pandora
Rolland Dean Basinger,78, passed away September 21, 2020 at Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay. Dean was born December 7, 1941 in Lima to the late Howard and Dorothy (Clymer) Basinger. On December 28, 1963 he married Margaret Otto Basinger.
Dean was a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School. He worked at Whirlpool Corporation – Findlay Division for forty plus years before his retirement. Dean was a life member of St. John Mennonite Church in Pandora. He enjoyed his family and their vacations, attending car shows with his son and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Basinger of Pandora; a daughter, Marrette (John) Borsani of North Baltimore, Ohio; a son, Scott (Katherine) Basinger of Pandora; three granddaughters, Brittany Borsani, Jessica (Luke) Borsani Powell, Laura Basinger and a sister, Sharleen Olson of Bluffton.
Dean was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Basinger, Dale Basinger and a brother-in-law, Arthur Olson.
There will be no services or visitation.
