Robin Ray “Rob” Schindler, 62 of Lima passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021 at St. Rita’s surrounded by his family.
He was born on March 5, 1959 to Robert Schindler and Doralee Bowers who proceeded him in death.
On October, 7, 1983 he married Robin Kratzer who survives in Lima.
Also surviving are his children: Amber Schindler, Ashley (Tim Hunt) Schindler, Cory (Tabbitha Brown) Schindler, Jacob (Amy Boop) Schindler, Joshua
(Alyssa Tidd) Schindler and Adam Schindler; grandchildren: John Stemen Jr, Gage Stemen, Madison Hunt, Timmy Hunt, Logan Hunt, Frankie Hunt, Jersie Schindler, Jorja Schindler, Jayce Schindler, Jaxon Brown, Jurnee Brown, Joshua Schindler Jr, Grace Schindler, Annalee Schindler and Keegan Pyle; siblings: Alice Freytag, Ron (Sheila) Schindler; cousin: Norm (Kathy) Hahn and many nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by siblings: Carol Goins, Shirley Tucker, Mary Bowers and Bobby Schindler.
Rob enjoyed spending time with his family. He particularly loved drinking coffee with his daughter, Ashley. The biggest joy of his life was being a Papa
to his fifteen grandchildren. He loved working on cars and playing push- rummy. He loved his rock and roll music and playing the guitar. He was an amazing drummer and is surely enjoying banging on the drums up in heaven now. He will be dearly missed.
There will be a celebration of life luncheon on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 1pm at The Lima Eagles on Robb Ave.
