Roberta J. Bible, 75, passed away on May 17, 2022, at her residence.
Roberta was born January 15, 1947 in Lima, OH, to Robert and Edna (Thompson) Bloomquist who both preceded her in death.
Roberta was a Sheriff in Orange County, CA then came to Ohio and worked for the Lima Police Department as a Dispatcher for roughly eight years. She then went to the Lima Corrections as a Counselor for twenty years. Roberta was known for fostering various animals and trained dogs for the Allen County Corrections Facility, working with the inmates. Roberta enjoyed her family dearly. She took care of people and animals alike. A little known fact about Roberta is she loved her potato chips.
Roberta is survived by her son, Frank L. Lalanne, IV of Lima, OH and granddaughter, August Lalanne of Indianapolis, IN
She is preceded in death by her son, Jason Bible and sister, Verna (Robert) Bible.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 12:00pm at Chiles – Laman Funeral Homes, Eastside Chapel. Craig Kelly to officiate the service.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 11:00am until the time of the service.
