So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great teacher. Taught me a lot about photography and printing. Will always remember a sign he had on the classroom wall. "Why is there always time to redo work, but never enough time to do it right the first time". RIP Mr. Hower

To Bob’s daughters.. I taught with Bob at Bath and became “ one of his girls -as Ruth Badertscher would say”. He met me for lunch and gave me one of his paintings. He said it was because he missed when my husband had died and wanted me to know he cared! What a fine gentleman; he picked me up at my door and we went to Henry’s in his convertible! I tried to call him about 6 months ago- maybe- to see how he was doing but got no answer. Sorry for your loss; he loved you all very much.

My heart goes out to all of you at the passing of your wonderful father! He was an inspiration to me in my teaching career; although it wasn't as long as his. I would have loved to be with all of you at this time, but the current situation does not allow me to travel to Ohio. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. Love, your cousin, Georgine

Bob was our neighbor in Elida. He was so thoughtful and neighborly. He gave us two paintings he did and I always think of him when I see them. We missed him when we moved to Fort Wayne. Rest in Peace Bob. Love Dick & Judi
