Robert “Bob” C. Kilgore, age 70, passed away January 31, 2022, at 10:31 pm, at the Lima Memorial Health System. Bob was born October 27, 1951, in Lima, OH, to Clifton Z. Kilgore and Laura June Nutt who both preceded him in death. On October 29, 1984, he married Deborah A. (Hyde) Kilgore who survives in Lima.
Bob was a veteran of the U.S. Marines where he served for 6 and a half years. He had worked as a carpenter his entire life for Norm Stewart and also for Sugar Creek Construction. He then worked with his brother Dave for many years retiring in 2007. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dogs.
In addition to his wife, Bob is survived by his children: Robert Kilgore of Tulsa, OK, Clifton Zelvia (Kayla) Hyde, Lucas (Jessica) Kilgore, Travis (Mandy) Kilgore and Trevor (Ashley) Kilgore all of Lima, OH, 13 grandchildren, 5 siblings: Cindy Courtney, David (Terry) Kilgore and Doug Kilgore all of Lima, OH, a brother, Terry (Susan) Kilgore of Charlotte, NC and a sister, LaDonna K. (Dean) Craig of Lima, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents and the mother who raised him, Mary Alice Kilgore.
There will not be any services held at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life and burial of cremated remains held at a later date.
