I met Dick when I judged vegetables at the Allen County Fair and admired his opinions and experiences he shared. He was an honest and caring man. We had similar life experiences. I was blessed because I knew him.

In 1987 when we bought the house next to Dick, the description failed to mention its best feature, having Dick as a neighbor. He always wore a cap and a smile and his cheerful friendly disposition made him a joy to know. I remember one of our last conversations, I was out picking up branches after a storm and he came over, said "I don't remember your name but I can still help you pick up sticks". Those of you who knew him, will never forget his many outstanding qualities and I am blessed to call him my friend. Such a truly wonderful man will certainly be missed but he will never be forgotten!

Janet and family. So sorry to see that Dick had passed on. I remember him as a Good old Tennessee boy, and a very personable guy. Remember when your CCL group used to go to the CC to see some productions ( Barbershop singing) and such. He always seemed to enjoy that so much. Know he had a good life, and is now enjoying his rewards. Take care all. Bill Moore ( Pat's husband).
