Rebecca Lynn-Scott Clow, age 51, of Lima, Ohio passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at 2:30 pm at The Ohio State University-Wexner Medical Center.

She was born June 15, 1970 in Coatesville, PA to William and Marilynn (Shimer) Scott who have preceded her in death. On May 21, 1994 she married Alexander “Alex” Clow who survives.

Also surviving are their beautiful children: Victoria (18) Timothy (15) and Elizabeth (11); Two brothers: Dr. David (Charity) Scott of Pasadena, CA and William (Sara) Scott III of Streetsboro, OH.

Rebecca was a 1989 graduate of Solon High School and a 1994 graduate of Cedarville University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She was the best stay-at-home mom she could be.

Rebecca loved to sing and play the clarinet and piano. She also loved to garden, plant flowers, create crafts and prepare delicious food. She was also an excellent seamstress. Most of all, she deeply and tirelessly loved her husband and children. Rebecca was quite proud of participating in trial studies at The Ohio State University for the betterment of future lymphoma patients.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., on Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Lima, with Pastor Trent Boedicker officiating the service. Burial will be at the Shawnee Township Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 3-5 and 6-8 in the funeral home.

A special thanks to all the staff at Lima Memorial Health Systems and the Ohio State University for their professionalism and unwavering care for Rebecca.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at Fifth Third Bank for her children’s future education or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
