Randall J. Newland, age 60, passed away August 2, 2022, at 8:31 pm, at the Ohio Hospice of Butler Warren County with his sister holding his hand. Randall was born February 20, 1962, in Lima, OH, to Robert and Dorothy (Snow) Newland.
Randall attended Elida Schools. He had worked his entire life as a mechanic. He started out with Muffler Bros. in Lima and then with Big Al’s Muffler in Middletown, OH. Randall enjoyed watching the Indy 500 where he was in attendance for more than 30 years without fail. He also liked attending and watching the Cincinnati Bengals and the Reds and playing his guitar.
Randall is survived by his siblings: Dana (Bruce) Conner, Tony Newland and Michael Newland all of Lima, OH. He is also survived by his former spouse, Theresa Savage and her daughter Ashley (Rob) Vagedes. He was preceded in death by a son, Tyler Newland and an infant brother, Brian Newland.
There will be a memorial visitation held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm followed by a time of sharing at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Burial of cremated remains will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
