Ralph Wilbert Cannon, age 78 of Lima, passed away April 28, 2022, at 11:35 a.m. in his residence.

He was born August 18, 1943 in Lima, to William Russell and Florence Ann (Craig) Cannon who preceded him in death. He was married for 34 years to Betty S. Boyd Cannon who preceded him in death on April 23, 2021.

Survivors include his daughters: Chana Banks and Tiffany Powell both of Fostoria, Nichelle Alberty of Houston, TX and Shannon (Darius) Richardson of Lima; his stepchildren: Michael Boyd, Carma Richardson, Kim Richardson, Chondra Lerondrick Crenshaw and Mia Richardson all of Louisville, KY, Rodrick Richardson of Lima, OH, 31 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; a sister, Eloise Lorene Tyson of Lima; a special nephew, Robert “Gizzo” Simpson of Lima and many nieces and nephews.

He is also preceded in death by the following siblings: Elsie Eileen Jennings, Elvin Elton Cannon, Cletus Casper Cannon, Clyde Richard Cannon and Robert Elsworth Cannon.

Mr. Cannon retired from Milcor Industries, February 2, 2006. He loved playing the lottery, going fishing and being a scrapper. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.

Services will begin at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Fourth St. Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Nathan Madison officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the church.
