Philip Eugene Buggle, 76 of Tempe, Arizona passed away on June 13, 2021 at Banner Desert Medical Center, Mesa, Arizona. He was born on January 15, 1945 the son of Alfred and Mary (Pate) Buggle in Lima, Ohio. Philip proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam war and received his Honorable Discharge in 1971. After his discharge from the Air Force, he started his career in the automotive industry for Ford Motor Company in his hometown of Lima, Ohio. After moving to Arizona in 1981 he began his career in the aerospace industry working for (what is now) Honeywell as the Director of Quality Assurance and then finally for Turbo Resources International as the Director of Sales and Service retiring in August, 2010. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Buggle, sister Sandra Kinkle and a granddaughter, Faith Buggle. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeannita “Jeannie” Buggle of Tempe, Arizona, daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Soto of Tempe, Arizona, son, Douglas (Tricia) Buggle of Rancho Cucamonga, California, seven grandchildren, Felicia Lupercio, Haley Buggle, Leila Soto, Jhett Buggle, Noah Swift, Ava Swift, one great-grandchild, Genesis Lupercio, and a step-brother, Gary (Sharon) Pahl of Lima, Ohio. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 2121 South Rural Road, Tempe, Arizona. Additional services will take place on Monday, June 21, 2021 in Lima, Ohio at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Shawnee Chapel. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM with burial following at Gethsemani Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given in Philip’s name to the Gary Sinese Foundation supporting American heroes and their loved ones; St.Vincent de Paul and/or Lima Central Catholic High School.
