Paul F. Roosenberg, 92, was called into the presence of his Lord at 8:05 am, January 22, 2022 from his residence in Hartwell, GA.
He was born September 3, 1929, in Lima, Ohio, to John and Jean (Breda) Roosenberg who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Ruth (Beck-Yetzer) Roosenberg as well as two sons, Kenneth (Janine) of Harrisburg, Pa, David (Donette) of Lima, Oh, and one daughter Pamela (David) Conine of Lima, Oh. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Jeanette (Roosenberg) Hodge, 93 years, is Paul’s last surviving cousin.
Paul was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in- law, Margaret and Tom Beckett; his stepson, Douglas Yetzer, and his first wife, Wilma Silhavy.
Paul was a Tool and Die Maker by trade but advanced into management and retired from Westinghouse Aerospace in 1991.
Paul was a US Navy Reserve veteran and a member of South Side Christian Church until he and Ruth retired to Hartwell, Ga 20+ years ago.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday and from 10:15 am until 11:00 am Saturday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Family graveside services will be held at Shawnee Cemetery with Rev. Wanda Werking officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the Golden K Association in Hartwell, Georgia in lieu of flowers.
