My sincere condolences to the Greene family. High school seems like a lifetime ago. I wasn't a football player and only had Coach Greene for one class but I believe it was the most enjoyable class I ever had. I still remember getting snapped by his rubber band or him hitting me with one of his very chalky board erasers when he thought I wasn't paying attention (several times). I always had the greatest respect for Coach Greene and know he has found his special spot in heaven.

Your dad was an inspiration to the teaching field. He made sure he taught concepts several different ways so that all students understood. He was ahead of his time... now the call that teaching to multiple intelligences! The teaching field could use many more like him.

Coach Greene was one of the best people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. He took this kid who was in trouble all the time and gave him time, and mentor ship. He was a great influence in my life and taught me perseverance, and that skill still lives with me today. Beth is my classmate and one of the nicest people as well, no doubt because of Paul and Dot. God rest his soul and because he touched so many of our lives in a positive way, I believe he’ll live on.

Condolences to all of the Greene family . Coach Greene was like a second father to me. I will always remember the good times and feeling welcome at the Greene house. I wish that I could be there for all of you as you were for me when my dad died. I will be there in spirit. RIP Coach.
