Patsy Lamb, 89, passed away at 6:00 am, December 7, 2022 at Otterbein Nursing Home.
She was born May 12, 1933 in Lima to Orval and Lucille (Cosart) Crider who preceded her in death. On July 5, 1952 she married Danny V. Lamb who preceded her in death on October 11, 2021.
Patsy had worked as a Medicaid caseworker for Allen County Department of Human Services. She was a 1951 Graduate of South High School. She was a member of South Side Christian Church where she was an Elder, a choir member for 65 years, Christian Women’ Fellowship, and the Faithful Followers Sunday School Class. Patsy was a Lima Memorial Hospital Auxiliary volunteer, life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1275, and was on the Bath School Board. For many years after our retirement we spent at Savannah LakesVillage in McCormick, SC, which were very special. We attended McCormick First Baptist Church, where I sang in the choir and were members of the Kononia Sunday School class. I went on my Emmaus walk, while there. Our main vacation every summer has been with our family, fishing in Wisconsin, renting a cottage in the Birchwood/Rice Lake area. This has been a tradition since 1956 and it still continues today, with some of our children and grandchildren.
