Patricia “Pat” Mae Locke, age 81, was called to her Heavenly Home at 5:42 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2022, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, with her loving family by her side, after an extended illness.

Pat was born September 30, 1940 at her grandmother’s house in Leipsic, OH, to the late Rhoades “Dusty” and Ruth Mae (Hazelton) Diehl. On April 3, 1960 she married the love of her life, Gerald “Garry” E. Locke.

Pat was a 1958 graduate of Ottawa High School. Her greatest joy was her family, she absolutely adored her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a longtime member of LaFayette Congregational Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald “Garry” E. Locke of Lima; three children, ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren: Kristi (Gary) Weisenstein of Jeromesville, OH, their children, Alyssa Weisenstein, Brent Weisenstein and Laura Peters and her children, Gunner and Colton; Dusty (Bobbi) Locke of Mooresville, NC, their children, Tamra Ballard and her children, Tyler, Kaleb, Jacob and Nathan; Tabitha Higgs and her children, Malachai, and Dakota, Amanda (Skylar) Graves and her son Bear, Lauren (Katherine) Locke; Andrew (Christy) Locke of North Augusta, SC, their children, Patrick (Sara) Locke with a baby girl on the way, Jenna Locke and her daughter Olivia and Zachary Locke.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a great-great grandson, Kayson.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, 2022, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Pastor Charles Moeller will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Harmon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, and from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 11, prior to the service at the funeral home.
