Patricia J. Wallace, age 72, passed away at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at home.

Patricia was born September 3, 1949 in Lima, OH, to the late Darrell and Mary Alice (Anspach) Augsburger. On June 7, 1969 she married Charles B. Wallace who preceded her in death on June 26, 2021.

Patricia was a 1967 graduate of Allen East High School. She had worked as a secretary at Montgomery Ward and The Ohio State University while Charles finished his schooling. Patricia was a loving housewife. Patricia loved the Lord and was a member of the Peace River Baptist Church, Punta Gorda, Florida. She enjoyed her flower gardens and both her and Charles loved their two cats very much. She was known for her chocolate candies: turtles, maple clusters, caramels, chocolate covered cherries, mints, and peanut brittle. She was the greatest candy maker and will be missed.

Survivors include: four brothers, Brad and Wanda (Kistler) Augsburger of Lima, OH, David and Bessie (Haney) Augsburger of Lima, OH, Kevin and Constance (Newland) Augsburger of Harrod and Jeff and Cathy (Brown) Augsburger of Lima, OH, two sisters-in-law, Patricia (Edward) Simon and Pamela Wallace both of Puyallup, WA, 11 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2022, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL,. Passtor Bill Turner will officiate the service. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, prior to the service at the funeral home.
