Patricia A. Jordan, age 88 of Lima, passed away at 6:15 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Odem at Auglaize, Wapakoneta,, surrounded by her family.

She was born April 13, 1934 in Lima to Russell and Ethel (Miller) Brown who preceded her in death. On August 15, 1953 she married Robert Jordan who preceded her in death on May 22, 2019.

They were the parents to the following children: Michael & Stephanie Jordan of Lima, James & Lisa Jordan of Wapak, Bill & Michelle Jordan and Linda Jordan all of Lima, and Susan M.-dec’d & Joe Sweigart of Harrod; grandchildren: Brian, Nicole, Adam, Scott, Lindsay, Joshua, Alysha, Jodi, Jamie, Rachelle, Jonathan, Christopher, Jessica, Jackson, Samantha, Klarc, Peggy & Kaya, 32 great-grandchildren and one on the way, 1 great-great-grandchild and one on the way. Her siblings include: Dr. Robert-dec’d (Linda) Brown of Springfield, James (Janet-dec’d) Brown of Lima, Carol-dec’d (Larry) Swords of Lima, Becky (Larry) Kohlhorst of Celina and Peggy (Tom) Brandewie of Ft. Loramie.

She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Breanne Jordan and a grandson, Bowe Sweigart.

She started her career with Bath Local Schools as the payroll clerk and retired as the treasurer. She attended St. Rose Catholic Church with her husband. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crafts, quilting, crocheting and needlepoint.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Eastside Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Service, from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, January 9, 2023, with her nephew, David Brown officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
