Pamela June “Pam” Radulovich, age 73, peacefully went to her eternal life in heaven at 11:08 a.m. Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Hospice of Central Ohio in The Ohio State University-Wexner Medical Center.

Pam was born June 1, 1948, in Lima, OH, to the late Robert T. and Elenor L. (Schrenk) Roffee. On December 14, 1974, she married Steven A. Radulovich, with whom she enjoyed almost 47 years of marriage, raising a family and traveling.

Pam grew up in Lima and in the Shawnee area. She told many stories of her childhood – living on Leland Avenue and then on Hawthorne Drive, fun adventures with her sisters and her friends, and of course, how much she loved riding her horse, Rusty. She enjoyed summers at her family cottage on Vineyard Lake in Brooklyn, Michigan, where you could always find her boating, swimming, or water skiing…even barefoot water skiing!

Pam’s true joy was her family. Being married to Steve and raising their three children, Adam, Brett, and Randi, was the most important thing in her life. Later in life, her six grandchildren filled her heart with even more joy. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and let everyone know it. Pam was caring, attentive, fun and loved without hesitation or condition. She gave her children a childhood and life full of love and laughter; and a home that always felt homey, warm and cozy, no matter the season outside. In the summers, she’d take her kids to long swimming days at Sandy Point Lake, or to weekends at the family cottage in Michigan, where she was famous for taking the kids on fast boat rides. She loved the water and sunshine, something she would pass on to her children. In the winters, she’d fill the home with warmth, either with Christmas lights, the smell of her famous brownies and chocolate crinkle cookies baking, hot chocolate for the kids and a cup of hot tea for her, or making homemade Christmas ornaments. Her children kept her busy with numerous sports activities, band, dance, and so much more. All she did, she did with a fierce love that only a mother can give, and a love that is still felt to this day.

To her extended family and friends, Pam was a warm, kind, happy, and joyous person. In her later years, she enjoyed having more time to talk to and visit with family and friends. Her and Steve enjoyed some wonderful trips with family and friends to London, Breckenridge, Rhode Island, and even Napa Valley; not to mention countless trips to Florida and Columbus to see her children and grandchildren. She had a way of making everyone around her feel happy and was beloved by many. Pam loved to talk and could and would strike up a conversation with just about anyone; from a familiar face at the grocery store to the waitresses at Casa lu Al. In her quiet time, she was either reading, sipping a cup of tea, watering her flowers, walking around the neighborhood, or listening to her favorite Garth Brooks songs and other music. Pam loved cheering on the Elida Bulldogs and especially the Ohio State Buckeyes. You very rarely saw her without a smile on her face or a twinkle in her eye. Her smile and laugh were infectious and so genuine.

Pam had a gentle soul and positive outlook on life, and was deeply rooted in her faith. She enjoyed being a member of and attending Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima, of which she was a lifetime member. Pam believed in the power of prayer and in God, and that never wavered, even with her cancer diagnosis in early 2019. Pam was a fighter and truly showed her strength in the past few years, despite everything she endured. She lived a full life, and, though she is no longer suffering and is in Heaven, she is greatly missed here on Earth. Heaven gained a bright light and a beautiful angel.

Pam was a 1966 graduate of Shawnee High School and had attended the Northwestern School of Commerce. She retired from Elida Schools and had previously worked at Clark Equipment.

She is survived by her husband, Steve, of Lima; three children, Adam (Kimberly) Radulovich of Galena, Brett (Laura) Radulovich of Upper Arlington, and Randi (Casey) Myers of Fort Lauderdale, FL; six grandchildren, Avery Myers, Aria Myers, Ana Myers, Lucy Radulovich, Samuel Radulovich, and William Radulovich; two sisters, Joan Schorling of Toledo and Roberta (Gene) Palmer of Perrysburg; sisters- and brothers-in-law Sue (Gerald) Siesel of Wapakoneta, Lynne (Dave) Anderson of Montgomery, TX, Michael (Martha) Radulovich of Raleigh, NC, and Rob (Karolyn) Radulovich of Plainfield, IL; and numerous nieces, nephews and great- nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her in-laws, George and Clymenia “Minnie” Radulovich, and brother-in-law, Richard Schorling.

Over the past three years, family, friends, and so many others have given Pam companionship and care, for which we are forever grateful. By no means a complete list, the family would like to thank, among others, Dr. James Bowlus, Dr. Pierre Giglio, LaVoya Little, Deborah Little, Donna Baker, Veronica Fox, Elizabeth Malcolm, Ameriya Brenneman, Emilia Brenneman, Nicole Stonerock, and the staffs of The Ohio State University Medical Center and Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 301 W. Market Street, Lima, Ohio 45801. Pastors Megan Croy and John Foster will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Allentown Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the church.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we ask that all visitors twelve years of age and older wear a mask at the visitation and funeral service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Trinity United Methodist Church.
