Nathaniel Gregory Winegardner, 24, of Lima, went to be with Jesus and his mother on August 13, 2021. He was born in Lima, Ohio to Gregory A and Kimberly C Winegardner on June 30th 1997.

He is survived by his father Gregory, his three sisters-Jacklyn (Ryan) Christian, Elisha Winegardner, and Lydia (Jordan) Tuerck, a niece who has yet to be born, maternal grandmother Colleen Ekland, paternal grandparents, Larry & Rhonda Winegardner, and David Swartz, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many friends.

Nathaniel graduated from Temple Christian High School in 2016 where he enjoyed being the mascot of the basketball team. Over the course of his childhood, he was very athletic and participated in gymnastics as a child, as well as wrestling in middle school and setting a school record in shot put on his school’s track team. After a few years in the workforce as a salesman Nathan became a soldier in the United States Navy and was looking to further his sales experience when he finished his career.

He enjoyed doing simple things with family and friends such as watching movies, listening to music, playing card games and shopping. His laughter was contagious as he shared countless jokes with those around him. He was a shining light with his sense of humor and a guiding light with his relationship with God.
