Mary and family. May God be with you in the coming days. We all share in your loss. I only wish I could have visited you more the last few years. Your family has always been so welcoming and loving. There has always been (and always will be) a special aura when passing through that second door at the back of your house. I will forever cherish that feeling and my memories of Sadruddin and the whole Bluffton College gang that you welcomed into your house. Mike’s love of life was evident through his boisterous laugh. I always appreciated his raised energy level and smile when greeting me with “Gator, How are you doing?” I loved his good-natured grounded advice, keeping me honest in a supportive way. I’ll miss our conversations about his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns football teams. I hope he’s giving Mom a big-old bear hug up in heaven. I know he’s good for it.

Mary and Family, our condolences and deepest sympathy. We just found out about Mike and are deeply saddened. Mike was one of the really exceptional people and I feel so fortunate to have known him and to have had him for a friend. I am so glad I had the chance to visit with Mike and You in Oct. He was a friend to everyone and will be greatly missed. He was a beautiful man.

Mike played football with my brother Steve Penn. I am Steve's brother but knew Mike very well. He was a compassionate and humble person as a gifted athlete at Paulding High School. He always took time to talk to me as well as my mother and father. He had a great smile. He will be missed by family and friends but is at rest with the Lord

Mike was one of the first people we met when we moved to Bluffton in 1970. He and his family were our neighbors on Garmatter Street and he became a golf partner with my Dad. Mike, you were a great man who will be greatly missed. Thanks for the memories ! To Mary and the girls, May God grant you peace and comfort in the days to come.
