Michael Gerard Snider, known to many as “Smiley,” passed away suddenly on July 21, 2021 at the age of 65.

Mike was born to Richard and Alberta Snider on March 3, 1965. He attended St. Gerard’s Grade School and was a graduate of Lima Central Catholic. He worked at Dana Inc. for many years and was a member of the Lima Orioles, Moose, and Eagle fraternal orders. Mike enjoyed cheering for his Kansas City Chiefs and spending time outdoors; hunting and fishing with his brother, Dick. He joined Dick and a group of their friends annually at deer camp in southern Ohio. Although known for being a private man, Mike was well-liked by those who knew him because of his humor and ability to make others smile.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his brother, Dick; his sisters Mary, Margaret (Ned Tippie), Kathy (John Guluzian); and his seven nephews and niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents Richard and Alberta.
