Mary C. Driver, age 96 of Lima, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 11:04 a.m. in her residence after a brief illness.

She was born February 1, 1927 in Allen County, to John and Thelma (Sawmiller) Moore who preceded her in death. On September 19, 1946, she married Ralph J. Driver who preceded her in death on October 25, 2006.

Survivors include their children: Jane (Lynn) Olds of Lima, Deb (James) Augsburger of Bluffton, Wayne J. Driver of Lima and Earl (Sandra) Driver of Bloomdale; five grandsons, six great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and one on the way; She is survived by her last sister, Betty Rutter of Allentown.

She is preceded in death by the following siblings: Lois Evans, Bob Moore, Eugene Moore, Jim Moore, John Moore and Jean Anne Obradovich.

She was a member of Pleasant View Church of the Brethren, where she taught Sunday School, and a member of the Allen County Farm Bureau. She was a self-employed upholster.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at the Mausoleum at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor James Washington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the Mausoleum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice.
