Mary Beth Corderman, 66, passed away on February 24, 2022, at 2:15 am, at Otterbein Cridersville, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Beth was born August 23, 1955 in Lima, OH, to Harold and Frances (Jennings) Corderman who both preceded her in death.
Mary Beth graduated from Marimor School. She then worked at Marimor Industries Inc for roughly thirty years. Mary Beth then worked at the Dollar Tree here in Lima for over twenty years. She also took great pride in volunteering at Lima Memorial Hospital folding thousands of towels. She was heavily involved in the Special Olympics. Mary Beth really enjoyed bowling and swimming. She also was quite the traveler and went to various places across the country. Mary Beth also enjoyed cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds. She cherished her family dearly and loved spending time with them all.
Mary Beth is survived by her siblings, Karen Bott of Lima, OH, Barbara Grener of Kenton, OH, nephews, Gregory “Greg” Bott of Lima, OH, Shawn (Lindsey) Grener of Kenton, OH, niece, Linda (Derek) Thompson of Belle Center, OH, and her great-nieces and nephews, Ethan, MacKenzie, Gabby, Lili, Emma and Bri.
She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, H. Allen Bott, Larry Grener and baby niece, Sara Beth Grener.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from 10:00pm to 12:00pm at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
Entombment to follow at Memorial Park Mausoleums.
The family requests that friends and family please try to wear Mary Beth’s favorite sports teams when they come to the visitation.
