Margaret A. “Bobbi” Beggin, 72 of Lima, passed from this life and was welcomed into her Heavenly home on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2021 at 1:13 p.m at Shawnee Manor.

She was born Nov. 21, 1948 in Lima to the late George Willim and Betty J. (Wireman) Young. On Sept. 21, 1992 she married John E. “Jack” Beggin who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2009.

Bobbi graduated in 1966 from Allen East High School, where she was active in many choral, music and stage productions and was an accomplished soloist. She worked many years in the mortgage banking business and real estate. She enjoyed cooking, decorating and singing.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Duff of Winchester, KY; seven grandchildren: Terry M. White, Tyler White, Victoria Jann, Taylor White, Chase Lundgren and twins, Alexis and Jayden Lundgren; five great-grandchildren: Michael White, Mason White, Matthew White, Caiden White and Gabriel Smith.

In addition to her husband and parents, Bobbi was preceded in death by her son, David E. Lundgren, II and a brother, Donald “Dean” Young.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., on Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral and Cremation Services, with Pastor Don Smith officiating. Friends may call from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family.
