Madeline Large, 96, passed away at 9:52 am June 11, 2021 at Burton’s Ridge Assisted Living, Lima, OH.

She was born July 6, 1924 in Mt. Vernon, IL to Louis Frank and Lola (Gregory) Davis who preceded her in death. On November 22, 1946 she married Billy Jack Large who preceded her in death on April 3, 1989.

Madeline had been a secretary for the State of Illinois and Universal Gas Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and choir of Centralia, IL, a very active volunteer and worked on various church committees. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Galatia, IL.

Survivors include: a Daughter, June (Steve) Bryan of Lima, OH; 2 Grandchildren, Mike (Anne) Bryan and Nate (Kelli) Bryan; 5 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers, Kenneth Davis and Bill Davis.

Friends may call from 9:30 am until time of services at 10:30 am Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Centralia, IL with Pastor Rodger Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Memorial Gardens.
